The Central Sterile Processing class has been very busy. The students just finished their first clinical rotation at area hospitals and surgery centers. Feedback from the preceptors and supervisors was VERY positive.
Two students have already interviewed for sterile processing evening jobs and one of those students, Brittani Smith, has landed a second shift position at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
Congrats as well to Lexi Csefalvay for being proactive and landing an interview. The students also just finished a project assignment highlighting the different areas and tasks performed in the Sterile Processing Dept. Hats off to Barbara Shields (not pictured) who won first place for her project about how to assemble a surgical instrument set. The class celebrated with a delicious potluck luncheon.
What an awesome, hardworking class!
