General Admission Requirements
- Program enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis by date of completed application. (A completed application includes all items required for enrollment.)
- Persons seeking admission to a college must be at least 18 years of age or have a high school diploma or equivalent. For full-time programs, the applicant must declare an occupational objective and demonstrate reasonable potential for achieving that objective.
- All persons who are required to register for the Federal Draft under 50 U.S.C. App. Section 453 are not eligible to enroll in any post-secondary school until they have registered with selective service.

- Provide proof of required immunizations.

Students are subject to drug screening, criminal background checks, and more stringent vaccination requirements based upon clinical affiliation agreements.
Surgical Technology
Prospective students must meet all requirements below in order to enroll into the Surgical Technology course:
- You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to enroll.
- Complete the TCAT – Murfreesboro application for enrollment.
- Provide a regular high school diploma or GED transcript.
- Provide proof of required immunizations.

Students are subject to drug screening, criminal background checks, and more stringent vaccination requirements based upon clinical affiliation agreements.
Practical Nursing
Prospective students must meet all requirements below in order to enroll into the Practical Nursing course:
- The following prerequisite class is required to be completed and the transcripts must be submitted with your application:
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Medical Math
- You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to enroll.
- Complete the TCAT – Murfreesboro application for enrollment.
- Provide a regular high school diploma or GED transcript.
- Provide three letters of reference. Two letters must be from professional sources and must be on professional letterheads. All three letters must be typed and signed.
- Provide proof of MMR and Varicella immunity.

For additional consideration for admission to the Practical Nursing program, submit the following optional documentation:
- CNA certification verification
- Verification of minimum one year employment in a health care field
- Verification of 25 hours of community service in the previous year
