Approved by the Tennessee Board of Dentistry, this 5-hour course provides students with detailed knowledge of nitrous oxide-oxygen inhalation sedation, its use in dentistry, and the health hazards and abuse potential of nitrous oxide.
Students currently enrolled in the TCAT-Murfreesboro Dental Assisting program or currently registered dental assistants will be certified to monitor nitrous oxide in the State of Tennessee by the Board of Dentistry after completing this course and successfully passing the final exam with a 75%.
