Medical Math is a REQUIRED Practical Nursing Prerequisite. To be eligible to apply for the Practical Nursing program, a final grade of 80 is required.
Medical Math covers key math concepts that must be mastered to succeed in the nursing program. It creates the mathematics foundation, attention to detail, and confidence necessary for your future success as a nurse. Learn to use the math skills that nurses use every day to provide medications to their patients in a safe manner. You will learn math skills including addition, fractions, ratios, and algebraic equations. You will learn to perform basic math skills without a calculator.
