Medical Coding is the “story” of the visit to the doctor, clinic, or emergency room translated into an alphanumeric code that is billed to the insurance. The Medical Coding Specialist course provides the essential tools necessary to learn the steps involved in coding Diagnosis (ICD-10), Procedural and Surgical (CPT), and Durable Medical Equipment (HCPCS). This knowledge of coding prepares you to sit for your Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam.
