Approved by the Tennessee Board of Dentistry, this 14-hour hybrid course provides students with detailed knowledge of coronal polishing for the dental assistant. Ten-hour online portion will be completed prior to 4-hour in-person clinical portion to be held on-campus.
Students currently enrolled in the TCAT-Murfreesboro Dental Assisting program or currently registered dental assistants will meet the coronal polishing certification requirements in the State of Tennessee by the Board of Dentistry after completing this course and successfully passing the final exam with a 75%.
