Automotive Technology


The mission of the Automotive Technology Program is to enable the students to obtain a thorough understanding of design, construction, and theory of the operation within the automotive systems and their relationship to the complete automobile.

The course will provide students with a thorough understanding of the methods of servicing and repairing automotive vehicles.  Students will receive individual instruction and learn the use of tools, special equipment, technical manuals, computerized service equipment, service specifications, diagnosis, and methods of repair.

TCAT Murfreesboro is proud to be a part of the Nissan Technician Training Academy. This partnership provides selected students an opportunity to learn factory-specific training, NISSAN & ASE certifications, and provides apprenticeship opportunities. Click here for more information.
